Incredible Things

Have you ever thought to yourself, "What I really need right now is a pear shaped like Buddha or an umbrella shoulder holder..." ?
Probably not, but if you were to come across such things, I have no doubt you would say something to the tune of "By golly, these things are surely INCREDIBLE!" Well here is your best opportunity. Incredible Things-Wonderful Weird Products is an exhibition for some fantastic products that nobody really needs! From a Time-Killer prospective, you could try to figure out what kind of person thought to invent fork candle holders, or for bonus points, you could try to think of something incrediblethings.com worthy! (actually inventing something is minus these imaginary points, though. Don't get all "productive" on me, now!)

Daily Squirrel

Today we are featuring a "guest blogger", my lovely friend Alison D.

"It is so adorable. It will make you smile. It will make you laugh. It will make you want to pet a squirrel cuz they're so darn cute. Don't do it. It's just a bad idea, But looking at this site= very good idea"

Thank You, Alison!

If YOU would like to submit a site to the blog, please send me a link and tell me why you like it to hello.there.caroline@gmail.com

David Horvitz

If you were to say to me: "Hey Caroline, where can I find more artistic, intellectual and insightful (and dare I say beautiful) blogs like yours?????" I would first thank you for your brave honesty and then I would refer you to davidhorvitz.tumblr.com. Davey here is doing a project in which when ever he feels like it ( but fairly often) he posts instructions for a simple and artistic project. You know he is a cool hipster because he also offers to send these instructions through "the mail". While I have never actually done any of his little projects, each time I read a new one, I spend a few minutes thinking about it and what it would look like or how he thought of it. It would kill even more time if I were to actually complete a task, but that is a little too involved for my taste...

Not Always Right

Now, I don't have a job. I should go and get one so I could make a bit of cash while I waste my life away, but times are tough. Fortunately, these days, one doesn't even need a job to savor in the luscious experience of dealing with an obnoxious/ slightly "special" customer. Not Always Right is a compilation of proof that the customer is in fact, not always right. Sales people and other unfortunate souls send in these ridiculous conversations with delusional customers to gain the sliver of acknowledgement that they crave for suffering the wrath of the crazies out there in the real world.

Youtube: Marie

Let me begin with an apology for the super long absence. It's back to school time and I have been more concerned with staying on track with everything than with killing time and I have been neglectful.

During this little break, I have "discovered" Marie or mreebee3 on the youtubes, and oh my sweet baby lord Jesus this girl has the voice of an angel. A sultry sounding angel. She is only 15 and already has more than 4000 fans. I love her covers because she doesn't just copy the original artist, she molds the song to fit her own style. I love it, I love it, I love it!

Gah! I just can't find the words! How about you just hear her for yourself, eh?
