Youtube: Jack

Okay, okay.

The three of you who are somewhat interested in this blog might be a fair bit disappointed in me for my 2 week plus posting absence. I am very sorry, to the bottom of my heart and in the depth of my soul, I sincerely apologize. <33333333333

To everyone else: Hey guys! On with it!

So Jack here, he makes some films on the youtubes. You can find him there under the username of Jacksfilms. Jack makes some music videos, edits things cleverly, and makes some videos with his friends and family; he also has a Wimpy Boy Band series featuring posters on his ceiling which I find hilarious but I think they take some getting used to. Sometimes he makes the types of videos that parodies the way big companies think. Instead of just asking himself "what the gosh darn heck were they thinking?", he goes ahead and hilariously puts himself in their shoes. Besides his more famous parody of the Macbook air commercial, he also did one for the ShamWOW, the new iPhone 3GS, and of course the Snuggie:

Incredible Things

Have you ever thought to yourself, "What I really need right now is a pear shaped like Buddha or an umbrella shoulder holder..." ?
Probably not, but if you were to come across such things, I have no doubt you would say something to the tune of "By golly, these things are surely INCREDIBLE!" Well here is your best opportunity. Incredible Things-Wonderful Weird Products is an exhibition for some fantastic products that nobody really needs! From a Time-Killer prospective, you could try to figure out what kind of person thought to invent fork candle holders, or for bonus points, you could try to think of something incrediblethings.com worthy! (actually inventing something is minus these imaginary points, though. Don't get all "productive" on me, now!)

Daily Squirrel

Today we are featuring a "guest blogger", my lovely friend Alison D.

"It is so adorable. It will make you smile. It will make you laugh. It will make you want to pet a squirrel cuz they're so darn cute. Don't do it. It's just a bad idea, But looking at this site= very good idea"

Thank You, Alison!

David Horvitz

If you were to say to me: "Hey Caroline, where can I find more artistic, intellectual and insightful (and dare I say beautiful) blogs like yours?????" I would first thank you for your brave honesty and then I would refer you to davidhorvitz.tumblr.com. Davey here is doing a project in which when ever he feels like it ( but fairly often) he posts instructions for a simple and artistic project. You know he is a cool hipster because he also offers to send these instructions through "the mail". While I have never actually done any of his little projects, each time I read a new one, I spend a few minutes thinking about it and what it would look like or how he thought of it. It would kill even more time if I were to actually complete a task, but that is a little too involved for my taste...

Not Always Right

Now, I don't have a job. I should go and get one so I could make a bit of cash while I waste my life away, but times are tough. Fortunately, these days, one doesn't even need a job to savor in the luscious experience of dealing with an obnoxious/ slightly "special" customer. Not Always Right is a compilation of proof that the customer is in fact, not always right. Sales people and other unfortunate souls send in these ridiculous conversations with delusional customers to gain the sliver of acknowledgement that they crave for suffering the wrath of the crazies out there in the real world.

Youtube: Marie

Let me begin with an apology for the super long absence. It's back to school time and I have been more concerned with staying on track with everything than with killing time and I have been neglectful.

During this little break, I have "discovered" Marie or mreebee3 on the youtubes, and oh my sweet baby lord Jesus this girl has the voice of an angel. A sultry sounding angel. She is only 15 and already has more than 4000 fans. I love her covers because she doesn't just copy the original artist, she molds the song to fit her own style. I love it, I love it, I love it!

Gah! I just can't find the words! How about you just hear her for yourself, eh?

Youtube: Frank and Myles

Oh, where to begin...
Well, I was introduced to 829Productions after my sister was asked to be in their music video for the band Radio Racer. Here is the video: (she is the main "heartbreaker")

Anyways, after seeing the music video (^^above^^), I thought to myself, "Hey, that was a really cool video considering its miniscule budget and my sister has only acted as a flower merchant in Cinderella when she was seven." Obviously, I was impressed, so I looked for more. The director of the music video, Frank Lucatuorto, makes music videos for Radio Racer and other bands, but more interestingly, little sketch videos with his friends. I found his other channel "MylesG623" which he shares with his friend (GUESS??!?!) Myles. Their videos are like that weird friend in high school: sometimes low quality, scattered, a little scruffy, keeps you guessing, but always hilarious so you keep him around. Enjoy:

(also, rumor has it that Frank and the gang are making an "Across the Universe-style" musical featuring remakes of Blink-182 songs. And by rumor has it, I mean it is almost finished and you can check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/RecklessAbandonMovie )

Don't Even Reply

When a website is titled "Dontevenreply.com : Emails from an asshole", you know you are in for a good time. This sneaky fellow Mike Partlow (if that's even his real name) responds to real Craigslist ads and to bait his victims. While this sounds like any other serial killer on Craigslist, "Mike" is different. Rather than lure them into his unmarked van, he responds to their ads somewhat normally at first, but then he unveils the crazy side of his character. Sometimes it's insulting, normally it's ridiculous, but it is ALWAYS hilarious.

This Is Why You're Fat

No, I'm not about to tell you about a television or computer website, though they are probably contributing factors. Thisiswhyyourefat.com where dreams become heart attacks: a website that is both disgusting and appetizing at the same time. The site features pictures of food, ridiculous food. Is it bad that almost every time I visit this site I get a little hungry? I mean, the Baconado (An avocado filled with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon.) sounds pretty good, and I mean, it has goat cheese so it counts as "decadent and fancy" right?

Right??

Youtube: Crystal

One of the sites I kill most of my time on is Youtube. It's pretty obscure, you probably haven't heard of it. If you have I think you should check out this gal Crystal. She is an adorable college student and doing this vlog everyday project on her channel CRYSonline (not "CRIESonline"). Every day, she posts a video and guarantees about two minutes of entertainment each day. Her other channel (PaltingC) has videos with her family and her longer videos. I love her and you should really check her out. Oh, and did I mention she is an AMAZING singer. Yeah, just listen:

Intoduction

I waste way too much time on the internet to not do anything productive with my time. I figured that if I created a blog to share the many ways I have mastered the art of procrastination, then someone might consider it helpful and thus, productive. Here we go, let's kill time...
